Monday, yet again. Plus, where I live, ice, yet again. What fragrance are you wearing?

I’m wearing L’Artisan Parfumeur La Chasse aux Papillons Extrême. It is from perfumer Anne Flipo, who did lots of the brand’s pretty florals between 1999 and 2007. I wish they’d have her come back and do more.

The seemingly inexorable rise

The seemingly inexorable rise in the number of women’s fragrances year-on-year was halted in 2014 when the launch pipeline contracted by -4.4% according to new data from Fragrances of the World 2015. Niche scents fell even further.
