Bunch o’ limited edition collector bottles 2015, part 27

Posted by Robin on 24 November 2015 6 Comments

More limited edition collector fragrance bottles, with the usual disclaimers: in most of these cases, the juice is unchanged, just the bottle is “special” (or not, as the case may be), and some of these may not be available in the US. Today's post includes collector editions from Serge Lutens, Lancome and Givenchy.

Serge Lutens La Vierge de Fer, engraved bottles

From Serge Lutens, engraved bottles of La Vierge de Fer, in four designs (two above, two below): "The Romanov coat of arms, this double-headed eagle knows that two heads are better than one when it comes to promoting the opening of the new Serge Lutens boutique in Moscow."

Lancôme La Vie est Belle Holiday 2015 message

From Lancôme, La Vie est Belle in a special edition for Holiday 2015: "This holiday, La Vie est Belle presents more than just a message that life is beautiful, with wishes of happiness sent from around the world. The limited-edition fragrance is made with the most precious natural ingredients. It is a modern interpretation of an oriental fragrance with a twist of gourmand, entwining the elegance of the iris with the strength of patchouli and the sweetness of a gourmand blend for an incredible scent with depth and complexity." $80 for 50 ml Eau de Parfum at Nordstrom.

Givenchy Dahlia Divin charity edition

From Givenchy, Dahlia Divin in the Black Ball edition: "Givenchy introduces Dahlia Divin Black Ball Eau de Parfum, a new limited-edition that supports Alicia Keys' charity, Keep a Child Alive. Dahlia Divin is a timeless and quintessentially lush woody eau de parfum with sweet top notes that caress you in radiant sensuality. Like an haute couture gown, this golden fragrance unveils the goddess within you." $110 for 100 ml, also at Nordstrom.

So is this yet another formulation of La Vie Est Belle? Their flanker situation is so confusing.

I think it’s just a collector bottle, so same old EdP formula.

I love the colored bell jar with its striking red heart! Still haven’t tried that one though….

Love these bottles, but not my favorite fragrance.

I want that SL bottle. No matter what’s in it.
