Bunch o’ limited edition collector bottles 2015, part 23

Posted by Robin on 19 October 2015 6 Comments

More limited edition collector fragrance bottles, with the usual disclaimers: in most of these cases, the juice is unchanged, just the bottle is “special” (or not, as the case may be), and some of these may not be available in the US. Today's post includes collector editions from Yves Saint Laurent, Lancôme, Repetto and Lise Watier.

Yves Saint Laurent Opium Rouge Fatal

From Yves Saint Laurent, Opium in the Rouge Fatal edition, done in red lacquer. 50 ml Eau de Parfum, €88.90 at Marionnaud in France.

Yves Saint Laurent Paris Rebel Collector Rouge et Or

More red from Yves Saint Laurent: the Paris Rebel Collector Rouge et Or edition. 75 ml Eau de Parfum, €105.90 at Sephora in France.

Lancôme La Vie Est Belle holiday edition

From Lancôme, a holiday edition of La Vie Est Belle, "the gift of universal happiness". $80 for 50 ml at Macy's. (A more expensive version of the bottle, with Extrait, will be featured in the holiday gift posts. Update: this bottle looks so like the luxury version that now I'm wondering if they've made a mistake and used the wrong image.)

Repetto Ballet de Noël

From Repetto, the Ballet de Noël edition of the Repetto signature fragrance in an ombre pink-gold bottle. Also at Sephora in France, €91.50 for 80 ml Eau de Parfum.

Lise Watier Neiges Eau de Parfum Luxury Edition

From Lise Watier, the Neiges Eau de Parfum Luxury Edition, with "an elegant keychain that will hold a few drops of your favourite fragrance." CAD $99 at Lise Watier.

Wait, so is that La vie est belle a 50 ml Extrait?

No way. But it does not say. Lancome is advertising the 10 ml Extrait in that bottle at $950. I suspect something is wrong with the Macy’s listing — maybe the image.

any possible way the Paris bottle is available in the U.S?

Really sorry but I don’t know. The previous Paris Rebel Collector (silver bottle) did come here though, so there’s reason to hope this one will too.

sorry to bother you with this, but do you know if the Rebel is the same original scent?
