Givenchy Pi Extreme ~ new fragrance

Posted by Robin on 2 September 2015 4 Comments

Givenchy Pi Extreme

Givenchy has launched Pi Extreme, a new fragrance for men. Pi Extreme is a flanker to 1999's Pi.

TO THE EXTREMES OF INFINITY. A magnetic Eau de Toilette with the essence of smoked leather and Ironwood. Pi Extreme is for the modern-day adventurer who doesn't stop at what's impossible. Constantly in search of a balance between calculated danger and enthralling excitement, the Pi Extreme man's unquenched thirst for adventure is what makes him so attractively magnetic. A confident explorer of uncompromised elegance, the Pi Extreme man aims for the unknown.

Givenchy Pi Extreme can be found now at Dillards, 100 ml Eau de Toilette for $85.

This is their 7th this year. I think they are winning, but have to check…

The notes of “smoked leather and ironwood” are a selling point with me but not so much the hyperbole: ” Pi Extreme is for the modern-day adventurer who doesn’t stop at what’s impossible.” I find this kind of over-the-top ad copy more humorous than compelling. Still, if the juice is not a vanillic overdose like the first Pi I would give it a chance.

Oh, we are opposites — if the heavy vanilla isn’t there, I’m going to be disappointed! (Assuming I ever remember to go look for it at all)
