Ari by Ariana Grande ~ new perfume

Posted by Robin on 24 July 2015 15 Comments

Ari by Ariana Grande

Singer Ariana Grande will launch Ari by Ariana Grande, a new fruity floral gourmand fragrance for women, in September.

The luscious and sexy fragrance opens with sparkling fruits and an ultra-feminine florally passionately spun with musks and woods and an addictive hint of marshmallow.

I will update with sizes and concentration when I can.

Update: Ari by Ariana Grande is sold in 50 and 100 ml Eau de Parfum, plus rollerball and matching body products.

Shouldn’t there be a notes of doughnut glaze and saliva?

Well, that hits all the marks, doesn’t it? Fruity floral, sugary gourmand note, musky wood base, the word “addictive”, something sticking out of or dangling off of the bottle. Sounds like it was focus grouped to within an inch of its life.

Somehow, I doubt they spent much money on focus grouping it — more likely they just did what everybody else had already focus grouped!

The pom pom is completely cracking me up.

Yes, what IS that on the bottle? Is it supposed to be a furry, “addictive” marshmallow? A powder puff? A donut hole?

They are calling it a pom pom (to distinguish it from a cotton ball).

Ariana was very forth coming about how much she hates americans. So allow me to take a second to talk about how much I hate cheap floral/fruity celebrity fragrances. This just looks like another horrible, headache-inducing scent that probably has no originality whatsoever. I hope America shows her the love right back by not buying this cliche.

A really bad time to release a celebrity fragrance, if recent research is anything to go by. I actually rather like Ariana’s music, but this strikes me as something that will be immediately forgotten.

Pom Poms..blast from the past..the bottle ain’t half bad without the pom…maybe. I am waiting for a roach clip or lucky rabbits foot…that would be peachy keen

That thing on the bottle reminds me of an oak gall.
