The Body Shop Life is Gold ~ new perfume

Posted by Robin on 29 June 2015 6 Comments

The Body Shop Life is Gold

The Body Shop has launched Life is Gold, a new limited edition fragrance for women.

With top notes of mandarin, a rich white floral heart of freesia and jasmine, plus a dry-down of vanilla-like benzoin and tonka bean, these captivating new fragrances will transport you to nature’s golden garden.

The Body Shop Life is Gold is available now in some markets, in 50 ml Eau de Parfum or 30 ml Perfume Oil.

    Gold and NO OUD!?
I can’t decide if I am happy or “disappointed”. 😛

And it’s clearly geared towards the Middle East no less. But in most places it’s being released in tandem with Red Musk Oud, so perhaps they felt they had the oud covered 😉

It looks like it may be marketed to the South Asian market, which apparently has a preference for white florals. I wish they’d bring it over to the US, the packaging looks a lot classier than their normal fruity offerings.

So far have mostly seen it in Middle East stores, as part of their Eid offerings. Might come here, no idea.

The Body Shop in the Middle East looks far more interesting than that in the US, I tried their limited edition Rose Oud, and that was pretty good.
