Not sure what Guerlain has done this year..to win house of the year. Velvet Orchid is nice..except too sweet. May have to ck out IA house sometimes. Congrats to the winners.

I was surprised by Guerlain too…old habits die hard?

I had to google Bogue Profumo Maai, but it does sound very nice!

It’s yet another smaller/newer line I have not even gotten to yet…

I bought it a few months ago, and I absolutely love it. The opening is a bit rough, but after about 10 mins this morphs into a wonderful, warm, sexy frag with exceptional longevity. Only takes one or 2 sprays. It reminds me of an “updated” Bal a Versailles.

Christian Dior and Tom Ford are definitely NOT niche fragrance designers. Kilian, Byredo, Creed, Boutique Guerlain, Diana Vreeland, Frederic Malle, these brands have niche power. I don’t think many people understand “niche”. Defined it means “Boutique artisanal perfume studios whose production is on a much smaller scale, and whose presence in mainstream retail stores is minimal or non-existent, are thus referred to as niche.” rare ingredients combined with non traditional elements to create a masterpiece, this is a niche fragrance, not Christian Diot.
