Robert Piguet Oud Divin ~ new fragrance

Posted by Robin on 18 May 2015 5 Comments

Robert Piguet Oud Divin

Robert Piguet has launched Oud Divin, a new flanker to 2012's Oud de Robert Piguet.

The latest creation from legendary fragrance house Parfums Robert Piguet weaves a complex story of desire and intensity. OUD DIVIN eau de parfum is an addictive formula; a scent of longing that pulls at the core of our being. OUD DIVIN opens with the bright jolt of espresso bean interlaced with Oud Piguet, a proprietary blend of resins and woods. At the heart of the scent is a velvety Tonka Bean that melds gracefully into the base of Indonesian Patchouli and Haitian Vetiver. The effect is deliciously perplexing.

Robert Piguet Oud Divin is available now at Selfridges in the UK, £160 for 100 ml Eau de Parfum.

Insert Alicia Keys…”Divin! Deeeevin! Yeah! Whooaoah”(from the Givenchy Divin ad). Perhaps that is what the Divin was missing, oud. Of course!

Seriously though, I do need to try more from this line, I have hardly tried any.

I am a bit behind, but they’ve never bested Fracas 🙂

I express my disgust with the no more oud tag. I probably need a few more oud-related tags to let off steam 🙂

Doesn’t oud mean ‘old’ in Afrikaans?
