Demeter has launched Asian Pear, the latest addition to their Fragrance Library.
Sophisticated and alluring, Asian Pear is a smooth, less sweet, and much more fragrant version than the more typical European pears that we are used to eating in the United States.
We chose the Asian pear as our target because we thought it eminently more wearable than European Pears, enhanced with naturally occurring notes of nutmeg and cinnamon.
Most Asian pears look remarkably like apples. Not only do they look like apples, they have the crunchiness of an apple. They also do not take on the grainy texture we think of as a normal pear. Instead Asian Pears stay smooth inside.
Demeter Asian Pear is available in 15, 30 or 120 ml Cologne ($6 – $39.50) and in matching bath & body products.

Demeter keeps chugging along, adding more and more fragrances. This sounds like an interesting fruity fragrance.
They really do! And I love Asian pears so would not mind smelling this.
This sounds appealing. I like several Demeter scents. I wish they would do intense or extended versions so they would last more than 45 minutes…
I know I’m probably the only one that prefers them as they are, for the most part.
Ooh, I love Asian pears. I might try this one — hoping they manage to capture the crispness of Asian pears! Plus, a small bottle won’t break the bank.

And really, the people at Demeter should receive an award for their commitment to their original vision/idea. I mean in all the years that I’ve known of their existence, they never stopped…. the just keep doing their thing, focused, not messing with the concept or the prices… While all over the industry frags gets discontinued, houses cease to exist (sometimes with a lot of DRAMA!), people frack around with pricing….etc. they just chug along.
