Joseph Abboud by Joseph Abboud ~ new fragrance

Posted by Robin on 15 May 2015 5 Comments

Joseph Abboud fragrance

Menswear brand Joseph Abboud has launched an eponymous fragrance for men, replacing an older 1990s fragrance of the same name.

Joseph Abboud is a luxurious and artfully masculine fragrance that embodies the passion and confidence of the classic, modern American man. Opening with fresh top notes of citrus and bamboo the fragrance dives into a heart of lavender, geranium, and sage, closing with a woodsy base.

Joseph Abboud was developed by perfumer Harry Fremont. Additional notes include guaiac wood, moss and  musk.

Joseph Abboud by Joseph Abboud is available in 100 ml Eau de Toilette.

The original Joseph Abboud was a strange, interesting scent with a curry note that I just loved. I somehow doubt that this will be anywhere near as interesting. I know the list of notes doesn’t tell us much but they do not inspire confidence.

I’d be shocked if this turned out to be strange and interesting, and I never even smelled the original.
