Hermes Jour d’Hermes Gardenia ~ new perfume

Posted by Robin on 9 April 2015 9 Comments

Hermès Jour d'Hermès Gardénia

Hermès has launched Jour d'Hermès Gardénia, a new fragrance for women. Jour d'Hermès Gardénia is a flanker to 2012's Jour d'Hermès, and follows 2014's Jour D'Hermès Absolu.

Jour d'Hermès Gardénia is advertised as a 'profusion of bouquets', with gardenia, rose and jasmine.

Hermès Jour d'Hermès Gardénia is available now at Nocibe in France, in 50 and 85 ml Eau de Parfum.

This is actually calling out to me on a certain level! The light yellow juice is pretty with the bottle too.

Do we know if Jean-Claude Ellena did this one as well?

    Sounds nice!

I do not, but should think it was either JCE or JCE with Christine Nagel — he is still there, after all!

Darn! I was at the downtown NYC Hermes boutique this afternoon and saw 3 Jour d’Hermes bottles on display and did not think to question why there were 3! The 3rd bottle may not be the Gardenia but if it was, I would be bummed to not have smelled it.

In any case, I wanted to smell the Monsieur Li perfume. It was pleasant in a citrusy way. There were no samples to be had of this one so I was content to take home a sample of Cuir d’Ange. I also tried on a $7,800 bag which I had no intention of buying; it was gorgeous and felt right on me except for the price!

Oh, dear, really expensive handbag tease! One of the rabbit holes I work so hard not to get sucked into! Which one?? LOL!

Will have to stop by the Vancouver Hermès boutique for a sniff soon, maybe this weekend. The SAs there are pretty nice even if they just know I am not going to be spending $7,800 on a bag anytime soon.
