Etat Libre d’Orange Remarkable People ~ new fragrance

Posted by Robin on 9 April 2015 10 Comments

Etat Libre d'Orange Remarkable People

French niche line Etat Libre d’Orange will launch Remarkable People, a new unisex fragrance.

For some, their efforts bring fame and glory. Many others remain unknown. But they cannot — they should not — be ignored.

Remarkable People.
You know who you are.

The notes feature grapefruit, champagne accord, cardamom, jasmine, curry, black pepper, labdanum, sandalwood and lorenox (Mane molecule).

Etat Libre d'Orange Remarkable People will be available in 100 ml Eau de Parfum.

My brain is trying to toggle a scent containing both champagne and curry as notes. Now I’m hungry

It’s been characterized as nice / unchallenging, so guessing it’s light on the curry part…

I’m right there with you- it sounds like an hors d’oeuvres party! I definitely need to sniff this one if only to figure out what all this gets to.

The notes are a dead on match for their discontinued Josephine Baker. A gorgeous, effervescent scent…not a lot of curry happening. They really need to consider getting name clearance before their release…Sex Pistols fiasco part dos.

Was there a Sex Pistols fiasco?! I can understand use of living persons’ ‘brand’ an issue, but Ms Baker passed 40yrs ago.. maybe they needed to pass the 50yr copyright mark…
I noticed too though that Rossy de Palma has dropped the name and it is now only Eau de Protection. Has Like This dropped Tilda too? :-/

Hey, I think they fired those teenaged boys in the marketing department! Not one raunchy word in the perfume description…

I love the smell of Champagne, not sure about the rest of the notes all together scent wise . Sorta reminds me of Kevin’s review yesterday…We will see!
