Tauerville Vanilla Flash ~ new fragrance

Posted by Robin on 8 April 2015 19 Comments

Tauerville Vanilla Flash

Andy Tauer's Tauerville brand has launched Vanilla Flash. Vanilla Flash follows Rose Flash, which debuted in 2014. If you missed it, you can watch Andy Tauer talk about the Tauerville range here.

This is the Vanilla that I wanted to create for myself.

It is all in there that I love: Spices, roses, patchouli, tobacco and more. And lots of vanilla. Natural Bourbon vanilla, too.

Tauerville Vanilla Flash is available in 10 ml rollerball ($32) or 30 ml spray ($63) Eau de Parfum. It can be purchased now at the Tauer Perfumes website, Switzerland or US sales only.

    Ok, confession time. Again.

I received the e-mail announcement about Tauer’s vanilla this morning. And how did I respond to that, you might wonder (or not)? Well, I whipped out my handy dandy credit card and purchased a 30ml bottle, quick as a bunny. Another blind buy which proves I tend to engage in risk taking behavior of the scented sort 😉

I am SURE you are not the only one! And it does sound delicious.

I almost did the same thing! And I’m not sure yet that I won’t. The rollerball is such a reasonable price that it seems silly/irresponsible/pointless not to!

Definitely irresponsible! And I consider myself responsible, so …

Plus, hard to say if it will sell out quickly.

If we, here, are any indication, it may well sell out today! 😀

The roller ball is a must! Not that I am enabling in ANY way, but come on! Such a deal! Especially if Vanilla is one of your favorite notes (it’s my number one!).

Yay! I wonder if Tauer would like to hire me as his PR/Pusher Person?!

            Enjoy your rollerball 🙂

I don’t know if you saw this, but you may find it … helpful. 🙂

Thank you for the link, what an enjoyable read! I love vanilla and Van-Ile sounds wonderful. Unfortunately, looks like it’s not available in the U.S. at this time.

My reasonable self tried to talk my impetuous self out of a 30ml purchase, but then, a voice in my head yelled “Vanilla! Tauer! Spices! Just acquiescence to your scented craving! It may sell out quick and never come back!!”

      Done deal. 😉

I showed only a tiny more restraint than you – having immediately ordered the rollerball!

Email received, rollerball on the way! I would pay Andy just for that adorable Vanilla Flash video. I don’t recall who mentioned it here on NST, but he really is like Mister Rogers.

Yes, he seems to be the kind of person that would prompt spontaneous hugs 🙂

Exactly! If I could be at Tigerlily when he and Jeffrey Dame are there, they’d both get a hug.

As another vanilla lover, I’ll be interested in hearing everyone’s take on this one. Sounds like it has way too much of everything else in it besides vanilla for my taste, so I’ll take a pass on it for now. You all can have my share!

Let me know if you need to assuage your guilt by trading a little for something else. I’d probably be happy with a few mL . . 😉
