Atelier Cologne Rose Anonyme Extrait ~ new

Posted by Robin on 2 April 2015 9 Comments

Atelier Cologne Rose Anonyme Extrait

Atelier Cologne has launched a new limited edition Extrait concentration of 2012's Rose Anonyme fragrance.

With Rose Anonyme Extrait, Atelier Cologne gives a unique interpretation of one of the mythical essences of the perfume world. The rose is revisited to establish a new presence in the Cologne Absolue family. An even more intense and unexpected facette of its personality with a 22% concentration in essential oils ensures an outstanding lasting power.

The bottles of Rose Anonyme Extrait are covered in genuine pink gold metal and the colorful leather label recalls the true beauty and refinement of the rose.

Atelier Cologne Rose Anonyme Extrait is $350 for a coffret with 30 and 200 ml bottles, plus a personalized leather case for the smaller size.

Just a spritz of the cologne absolue lasts all day on me so it would take me many lifetimes to use 200 = 30mls extrait. I love Rose Anonyme but that would be major overdose even for me.
I think Atelier may have missed the boat by offering this in the jumbo size. I could totally go for a 10ml of this.

We have similar thoughts. I was wondering why they didn’t offer the 30 ml in a coffret with the 200 ml EdT…seems odd to buy 230 ml of Extrait.

Tried and love it. It’s deeper/richer than the Rose which I wear either alone or mixed with the Vanille. Trying to be practical, but knowing myself, I will most likely get one before the spring ends.

Am I insane to think it sounds somewhat affordable for that amount in that concentration and with that lovel pink gold (why not ROSE gold?) purse bottle? Not affordable for me, but for people with some type of budget.

Well, don’t know which of us is insane, LOL…it doesn’t sound like any sort of bargain to me. Extrait does not always mean what it used to, IMHO, in terms of the quality of the ingredients. But for all I know this is fantastic.

That IS a lot of juice! And the cologne is already fairly heavy and long lasting. Seems like some random, almost impulsive move on their part because who WOULD want that much? I always think of higher concentrations coming in smaller, more precious amounts. I would like this scent more if they backed off on the syrupy, jammy sweetness(and also in other scents from their line). Wondering if the extrait is less sweet. I only have samples from Sephora but I find it layers nicely with Vetiver Extrodinaire.

I tried this last month and prefer the original actually.
It’s a lot of juice to make a commitment to… I bought Rendez Vous and I’m still annoyed at the fact that they don’t sell it in smaller quantities. I feel like I would never use it up.

By the way, I used the coupon code that was mentioned on another blog when the pomelo review was posted. I must apologize because the day my order went through, the code stopped working… So I feel like they forgot to take the code down til my order was placed and someone wondered how I got a free candle.
