The Fauchon + Givenchy Irresistible eclair

Posted by Robin on 31 March 2015 7 Comments

Fauchon + Givenchy Irrésistible éclair

Not to be outdone by Thierry Mugler, Givenchy has worked with French gourmet food brand Fauchon to develop a limited edition éclair honoring their Very Irrésistible de Givenchy fragrance.

Pastry chef Patrick Pailler used Tahitian vanilla scented with rose for the filling, and a white chocolate shell decorated with a bouquet of roses for the top.

The Fauchon + Givenchy Irrésistible éclair will be sold from 8 to 30 May at the Fauchon store at place de la Madeleine in Paris, €7 each.

Already guessing there will be a flanker of this eclair:). Vanilla+rose filling doesn’t sound too bad, I suppose.

Hope the flanker has a dark chocolate shell.

L’Eclair L’Intense-representing, the darker, edgier perfume, L’intense. Dark chocolate rose+plum liqueur for the filling. With a dark chocolate shell, dusted with fine, cocoa powder.

Fauchon + Givenchy Extremely Irrésistible éclair!

I looked at the picture above before I read the copy, and thought, “What is that? Some sort of very big nail file and buffer or something?” It did not strike me as an edible object…LOL!
