Sisley Soir d’Orient ~ new fragrance

Posted by Robin on 17 March 2015 5 Comments

Sisley Soir d'Orient

Sisley will launch Soir d'Orient, a new perfume for women. Soir d'Orient is a flanker to 1990's Eau de Soir.

Rediscover the warmth and mystery of Andalusia. This variation of Eau du Soir transports us to a palace in Seville that bore witness to the “convivencia”, in which communities shared their knowledge, arts and cultures, making it a golden age of these proud lands… A sparkling and mesmerizing start, a floral land spicy heart, a woody and mysterious wake…A fragrance that combines the brilliance of Italian Lemon, the green freshness of Iranian Galbanum and the voluptuous roundness of a Saffron accord. Black Pepper from Madagascar lifts the fragrance, adding an almost insolent dimension to the mysterious and captivating scent of Turkish Rose absolute and Egyptian Geranium. The rich woodiness of the Sandalwood accord and the mysterious leather scents of Somalian Incense combine with the warm elegance of Indonesian Patchouli.

Sisley Soir d'Orient will be available in 100 ml Eau de Parfum.

Update: Soir d'Orient is also sold in 50 ml.

Hi Robin, this sounds really good. They just opened a Sisley Boutique int he West Village that will also house their fragrance line. I’ll have to give this a sniff this weekend. What do you think of the range in the Sisley line. I must say, I have not tried their beauty or fragrance line and i am not quite sure why. I do have a feeling the price point for this line is pretty stratospheric, not sure why.

I loved the original Sisley Campagne but not so much in newer versions, too fresh now. Eau de Soir is probably their biggest seller…see Angie’s review (link above).

Sounds like a love child of Eau du Soir and Soir de Lune (elegant nonetheless). Intrigued…

Hihi, finally I found my credentials here and happy that it happened today. On paper, this is a mess. I still find Soir De Lune most harmonious of all, but it is so closed to Agent Provocateur’s structure, that I find no sense in having both. May be I am just a bit confused. Tried this one in rush, but it didn’t leave any impression on me, except the one of some things put together in a hard try of bringing front something new. May try it again some time.
