Guerlain’s in-house perfumer, Thierry Wasser, was awarded the Chevalier de la Légion d’Honneur medal this week in an intimate ceremony held in Paris. Marc-Antoine Jamet, secretary general of the LVMH Group, bestowed the honor, recalling the Swiss-born perfumer’s many achievements and highlighting his elegance “both in image and in his soul.”
