Elie Saab Le Parfum Resort Collection ~ new fragrance

Posted by Robin on 10 December 2014 15 Comments

Elie Saab Le Parfum Resort Collection

Elie Saab will launch Elie Saab Le Parfum Resort Collection, a new flanker to the brand’s debut fragrance, 2011’s Elie Saab Le Parfum. The limited edition scent was inspired by the Elie Saab spring/summer 2015 fashion collection.

Le Parfum Resort Collection was developed by perfumer Francis Kurkdjian. The notes include orange blossom, jasmine, frangipani and fig.

Elie Saab Le Parfum Resort Collection will debut in February, in 50 ml Eau de Toilette.

Update: there will also be a 90 ml size.

Another update: the description at The Bay in Canada ... "A springtime reinterpretation of the ELIE SAAB Orange Flower signature enhanced with a sweet and gourmand Fig. The top note of a sweet Fig and a Mandarin zest adds a delicious and fresh sensation. In the heart note, the white and luminous Bouquet of the original fragrance signature is enriched by a solar Frangipani Flower. The base note of Cedar and Amber gives elegance and sensuality to the fragrance trail."

Could be fun…maybe even sort of like Terracotta? Or could be aquatic. We’ll see!

Love the bottle in blue. The only one I liked was L’Eau Couture but I’ll probably still sniff this one

First of all, I love anything Francis Kurkdjian is involved in. Second, the blue bottle is awesome!
All of the notes; orange blossom, jasmine, and fig are appealing to me. I am not sure what frangipani is or what it smells like. Someone please educate me on that one. Other than that, this is a fragrance that I would love to try. I have Elie Saab Intense and I love it.

Also known as plumeria, it’s kind of like a warm, soft, tropical, golden-y (or golden-y white/creamy?) scent with a bit of sweetness. Some frangipani samples would help. Beige by Chanel, OJ Frangipani, Songes Goutal..I think you would like frangipani. STC has a frangipani sample pack(not affiliated).

Thanks! I am definitely familiar with plumeria. I have a sample of Beige and I like it. So I can’t wait to try this one.

Iike the notes except for fig. fig has a sweetness I generally don’t like..an aquatic fig doesn’t sound appealing either, if that is the case. But probably worth a sniff to see:).
