Nina Ricci Les Delices de Nina ~ new perfume

Posted by Robin on 4 December 2014 4 Comments

Nina Ricci Les Délices de Nina

Nina Ricci will launch Les Délices de Nina, a new fragrance for women, in January. Les Délices de Nina is a limited edition flanker to the 2006 version of Nina, and follows prior flankers Nina Pretty, Love by Nina, Le Paradis de Nina, Nina L'Elixir, Nina Fantasy, Nina L'Eau and La Tentation de Nina.

Les Délices de Nina was developed by perfumers Marie Salamagne and Olivier Cresp. It centers on a strawberry candy accord (Mara strawberries, white caramel); additional notes include mandarin, lemon, raspberry, praline and white musk.

Nina Ricci Les Délices de Nina will be available in 50 and 75 ml.

“strawberry candy accord” sounds disgusting and I really didn’t like Nina when I tried it — but oh, how I love the original bottle and all the flankers! This one, with its teinte de Pepto-Bismol, is the first that hasn’t tempted me.

The Tentation looked tempting (sorry) but I never see these in the US so never tried it. Agree, strawberry candy accord = not my thing.

The opening of original Nina (in the red apple) was very pretty in a child-like way. It was actually an irresistible opening, but I found the rest mediocre. This one, however, looks like its regressing into infancy!

      The usual trajectory, LOL…
