Posted by Robin on 1 October 2014 14 Comments

Lolita Lempicka Sweet

Lolita Lempicka will launch Sweet, a new perfume for women "who live life deliciously".

Sweet was developed by perfumer Anne Flipo, and features a cherry-cocoa lipgloss accord. Additional notes include iris, cashmeran and musk.

Lolita Lempicka Sweet will debut later this month, in 30, 50 and 80 ml Eau de Parfum.

Update: Sweet is a flanker to Lolita Lempicka Le Premier Parfum.

Dig that bottle, not sure about lipgloss accord.

A fun chocolate cherry scent would be fine with me. We’ll see!

Bottle looks tempting! Not a fan of cherry fragrances, but so far everything that came from Lolita Lempicka was really well-made. I’m more into L and Si Lolita; but recently warmed up to the original scent. My daughter has a bottle and I “borrow” from her sometimes 😉

I think we should add those words to our perfume vocabulary!

I am excited and concerned. Super stoked that none of the notes listed are black licorice or any of its evil kin 🙂 Cherry and cocoa sound good and I like sweet frags. A perfume that smells like lipgloss base (some type of oil or oil-like product) does not sound good to me.

Thank goodness for no licorice! I think the cherry’s the best part of the original fragrance, so playing that up will be interesting. Lip gloss just kind of smells like candy (well, or vanilla plastic) anyway, right?

We are throwing in some of the same aroma chemicals that are in cherry-cocoa scented lip-glosses = cherry-cocoa lipgloss accord? lol!

There’s a discontinued Tokyomilk perfume that’s chocolate, cherry and florals and I actually really like it. And it has been a while since LL really grabbed me so here’s hoping this one’s interesting in a good way.
