Demeter Pistachio Ice Cream ~ new fragrance

Posted by Robin on 14 July 2014 10 Comments

Demeter Pistachio Ice Cream

Demeter has launched Pistachio Ice Cream, the latest addition to their Fragrance Library.

Slightly nutty, slightly sweet, cool and creamy, Demeter's Pistachio Ice Cream is one of those rare fragrances that is ideal for all times and all seasons. Do not wear this one unless you are prepared for attention and lots of compliments.

Archaeologists have found evidence from excavations in Iraq that pistachio seeds were a common food as early as 6750 BC. The Hanging Gardens of Babylon were said to have contained pistachio trees. The modern pistachio was first cultivated in Western Asia, and it has long been an important crop in cooler parts of Iran and Iraq. Pistachio cultivation spread into the Mediterranean world by way of Persia, where today the nuts remain widely enjoyed.

Demeter Pistachio Ice Cream is available in 15, 30 or 120 ml Cologne ($6 – $39.50) and in matching bath & body products. There is also a "Virtual Scoop Shop" coffret with Pistachio Ice Cream, Vanilla Ice Cream and Strawberry Ice Cream (30 ml each; $45).

A nutty ice cream scent could be fun.

Wow, many pistachio fans! Obviously they should have made this years ago.

Oh my! I absolutely adore pistachio ice cream! I hope Demeter’s version smells as scrumptious as the actual taste of the ice cream. I am excited to try this one!

I love pistachio ice cream and I have a 50s style soda fountain green swiss dot dress that this scent would go perfectly with!
