Clinique Beyond Rose ~ new fragrance

Posted by Robin on 26 May 2014 14 Comments

Clinique Beyond Rose

Clinique has launched Beyond Rose, a new floriental fragrance.

Rose as you have never known it… sheer layers that build into an intense experience, with hints of amber and a shock of pepper.

This scent owes nothing to the past except the certain knowledge that fragrance is seductive. Modern, clean, sophisticated and worldly, it’s fragrance for today and the future.

Additional notes include freesia, mate leaves, styrax, osmanthus, labdanum and benzoin.

Clinique Beyond Rose is available now at Harrods, £105 for 100 ml "Perfume Spray".

Trying to figure out if they’ve done a pillar since Simply in 2003…anyway, it’s been a long time!

Well they did add Calyx (formerly from prescriptives) to the Clinique line… I think it was a good move and they “saved” a frag that otherwise could have died!

True. But no “new” pillars, in ages.

I still live in hope that Clinique will launch something as genius as Aromatics Elixir, Wrappings, and Chemistry, so I am definitely going to be trying this.

It could happen. They mostly seem to subsist off Happy & its flankers & special editions.

I treasure Clinique’s limited edition Aromatics Elixir Perfumer’s Reserve, so I will definitely try this. Keeping fingers crossed!

Happy and flankers give my coworker headaches though they are supposedly hypoallergenic or nearly so. Funny . I can wear Angel edp dabbed and bother no one.
I hope it releases in the USA too ! And in my area, if it’s any good then perhaps I could get it at my local Belk .
Never heard of a Clinique Chemistry – what was it like?

Chemistry is a frag for men.. a lovely cologne that actually does what the name says and (this is my personal opinion) works with your body chemistry.
In MY case it works WONDERFULLY! that is if you want sexy looks and spicy comments… I swear! 😀

I love it, but I haven’t bought it in years… I’m married now! LOL

Jokes aside, it is a good green-citrusy cologne and I love it.

I can’t wait to try this! I find that Clinique’s fragrances are really well done. I’m hoping for something as special as Aromatics Elixir, and the notes sound interesting. Will definitely try.

I haven’t known it to be like that ever:). Not big on roses or Clinique scents…so, probably money saved for moi.

Something new from Clinique. I hope they will bring back Tailoring for Men…that was one they discontinued in early 90’s. I have fond memories of it…
