Solscents ~ scented sunscreens

Posted by Robin on 5 March 2014 6 Comments

solscents-line-s

Solscents launched last year with a line of "Brightly Scented" suncare products, including sunscreens and lip balms "for consumers that do not want to smell like sunscreen":

Available in broad spectrum levels 15, 30 and 50 and seven fresh scents...

Borrowing notes of perfume and popular fragrances, products are available in a variety of scents, including Angelica, Deep Love, Vanilla Silk, Flower Blast, Pina Colada, Raspberry Dreams and Cucumber Melon. Renowned perfumists collaborated with the brand and aimed to perfect the fragrances using only the finest essences. Once applied, the moisture-rich, antioxidant formula is fast-absorbing, works efficiently to block UVA/UVB rays, and is water resistant for up to 80 minutes.

Solscents sunscreens are $14.95, the lip balms are $3.95. You can find Solscents at Walgreens, Drugstore.com and Amazon...please comment if you've tried them!

These look cute, I could see myself getting one of these if the scent is a little decent.

Alas, the scents sound just ones for cheap, drugstore bubblebath. If any are okay, definitely let us know!

I liked the Angelica, Vanilla Silk and the Raspberry. The lotions are very moisturizing. It’s good for people who love scented lotions. I wouldn’t advise using them on your face.
