Lancaster Sol da Bahia ~ new fragrance

Posted by Robin on 27 February 2014 4 Comments

European skin and suncare brand Lancaster has launched Sol da Bahia Eau d'été, a new Brazil-inpired summer fragrance. Sol da Bahia is part of a limited edition collection of Lancaster suncare products with decorations by Anglo-Brazilian design duo Clements Ribeiro.

A scent that draws its inspiration from the rich perfumes of Brazil. Citrus, coconut accords and musky notes leave their warm and sensual impression on the skin. The choice of its essences allows it to be safely applied to the skin even when the sun is at its height. A totally irresistible fragrance that blends with Lancaster sun care’s legendary scent to play the beautiful Carioca all summer long.

Lancaster Sol da Bahia Eau d'été is available in 100 ml.

That bottle and box is way fun..it kinda leans on too much stuff going on with it though. Not interested in the juice.

Now, this name makes sense for a Brazilian, unlike Limon Verde. The juice sounds very much like a copy of Batucada, though.

I think they’ve been making coconut-scented sun products for eons before anybody thought of Batucada though.
