Dolce & Gabbana Light Blue Discover Vulcano Pour Homme ~ new fragrance

Posted by Robin on 10 February 2014 5 Comments

Dolce & Gabbana Light Blue Discover Vulcano Pour Homme

Dolce & Gabbana have launched Light Blue Discover Vulcano Pour Homme, a new limited edition fragrance named for the Aeolian island. Light Blue Discover Vulcano Pour Homme is a flanker to 2007's Light Blue Pour Homme and the masculine counterpart to Light Blue Escape to Panarea.

Vulcano is the most masculine island that gave its name to all volcanoes. This Aeoleon Island is famous for its mud baths and it's [sic] still smoking main crater. The name of the island had been given to it by the Romans, and over the centuries, the word Volcano has become common in most modern languages. The Romans had used the island mainly to get raw materials and for harvesting wood. This had been the main activity on the island till the 19th Century. Bringing the "Aeoleon mood" everywhere with top notes of Italian lemon & ginger, middle notes of cypress & lavender, and base notes of vetiver & cedarwood.

Dolce & Gabbana Light Blue Discover Vulcano Pour Homme is available now at Macy's in 150* ml Eau de Toilette, $85.

* That's what Macy's says, but betting it's a mistake. More likely it's 75 ml, like Light Blue Living Stromboli Pour Homme.

Has someone at branding gone mad? Volcano’s are many things but they are not “light blue”

It’s an island w/ a beach — like Stromboli. That seems to be the theme.

Yeah! I think that the new one is going to be called “Dolce & Gabbana Light Blue Discover Vulcano, Swim in the Beach, Dance in the moonlight Pour Homme” LOL 🙂
