Dolce & Gabbana Light Blue Escape to Panarea ~ new fragrance

Posted by Robin on 8 February 2014 4 Comments

Dolce & Gabbana Light Blue Escape to Panarea

Dolce & Gabbana have launched Light Blue Escape to Panarea, a new limited edition feminine fragrance named for the smallest of the Aeolian islands. Light Blue Escape to Panarea is a flanker to 2001's Light Blue, and follows 2012's Light Blue Dreaming in Portofino.

Panarea is the smallest and the most fashionable of the seven Aeoleon Islands. It owes its fame to the Hotel Raya, which in the summer attracts the international jet-set. The terrace of the Hotel Raya is the place to be for the aperitif, and its disco keeps the island awake until dawn... Bringing the "Aeoleon mood" everywhere with top notes of bergamot & pear, heart notes of night blooming jasmine & orange flower, and base notes of ambergris, tonka beans, & warm musks.

Dolce & Gabbana Light Blue Escape to Panarea is available now at Macy's in 100 ml Eau de Toilette, $97.

I ended up not caring for the Dreaming that much, like at all, but I’ll certainly give this one a try when I see it. Sorry your nemesis is in this one Robin. Haha! ; )

I’ll give it a shot too, but you know I won’t like it. Wonder if they’ll do a men’s this year, to update that Living Stomboli.

Is it me or the press release sounds exactly like a Hotel Raya + Light Blue collaboration release? I can imagine the concierge handing a sample to all guests checking in the hotel.. 😛

You do have to wonder if some deal was not involved!
