Ralph Lauren Midnight Romance ~ new fragrance

Posted by Robin on 7 February 2014 8 Comments

Ralph Lauren Midnight Romance

Ralph Lauren will launch Midnight Romance, a new floriental fragrance for women, in April. Midnight Romance is a flanker to 1998's Romance; the brand is calling it Romance's "sexy sister" although the juice apparently is not related. Midnight Romance will be fronted by model Anna Selezneva.

Midnight Romance was developed by perfumers Honorine Blanc and Alberto Morillas. The notes include raspberry, bergamot, lychee, peony, jasmine, freesia, black vanilla, iris and ambrox.

Ralph Lauren Midnight Romance will be available in 30, 50 and 100 ml Eau de Toilette and in a 10 ml rollerball.

Too fruity for Midnight romance scent, imo and peony and freesia I don’t see as part of the mix either.

Hard to tell how fruity it is just from reading the notes…

I liked the original Romance. This new one seems like I would probably enjoy it. I am a fan of peony. I don’t think it will be too fruity.

I’ve got to agree with the other people commenting… It’s seems too light to be associated with a title that includes “Midnight”
