    What can I say?
I love to read/sniff/touch/watch/speak about Guerlain…so I liked this video, even if the voice sounds strange… I wonder if there is a french version.

Anyway, to me, the most iconic Guerlain bottle is the Mitsouko/l’heure bleue one.
Evene if my favorite perfume is Shalimar (and I also love the bottle, the only one to win @ an exposition universelle!!!!), but the word “Guerlain” conjures the image of the inverted heart stopper of ole Mitsy…

I *must* add that in my opinion Guerlain has the most amazing array of bottles I can think of – vol de nuit’s propeller, the apothecary Jicky, the snail of MDM and VDV, the exotic Liu, Guet Apens’ lantern, “le cible” of the vintage colognes… But my favorite must be the “tortue” design.
(for some bottle porn, MoniseurGuerlain has a picture to die for on his home page at the moment: a jet black tortue design with gold details… ohhhh)

So glad you mentioned the voice…thought it was all wrong for the piece, which is otherwise lovely.

And to me, the Shalimar bottle *is* the iconic bottle of Guerlain, even if they do not agree. And yes, Monsieur Guerlain is pure bottle porn, always!

I agree. Shalimar is the iconic Guerlain perfume and its shell bottle is the iconic bottle.

(By the way, I found the ad’s suggestion that Guerlain’s “bees” have “escaped time” rather alarming. Bees are annoying enough without them having time travel abilities.

I would like to give a differing opinion. As a professional public speaker, I found the narrator’s delivery and French pronunciation to be excellent. The whole video history was very well done.

Differing opinions are always most welcome, so thanks!
