Whole lotta love

Posted by Robin on 2 September 2013 19 Comments

Actor Robert Pattinson and model Camille Rowe hang out, kiss, swim, and drive on the beach for Dior Homme. This is the Uncensored Official Director's Cut (almost 2 minutes long); the shorter censored version (about 1 minute) leaves out the smoking and some other stuff, but is not particularly more tame otherwise.

Below the jump, le making of. If that's not enough, or if you'd just like to see Mr. Pattinson with a beard, you can check out this interview in which he talks about working with director Romain Gavras.

I didn’t realize until I wrote this up today that he was Cedric Diggory — thought I didn’t know him at all since I never watched Twilight.

I think she’s prettier than he is. I think he looks too much like an alien. . .

He doesn’t look unattractive to me, but if I hadn’t been told he was massively sexy, I wouldn’t have noticed. Actually, think he looked much cuter when he was Cedric Diggory.

Whereas, when I saw Goblet of Fire, I was disappointed that they couldn’t find someone good-looking for that role! Laughing at the notion of not noticing someone’s sexy until it’s pointed out, though! 🙂

Ha…I think what I meant was that I’d never have guessed that he is considered sexy, or is a sex symbol…I mean, he’s not unattractive, but not that big a deal to me. Am guessing that his role in Twilight was sexy in some way.

That never happens to me when I wear Dior Homme….maybe I’m putting enough on? 😉

Have you tried hanging out on the roof, maybe?

Whoa, this looks more like an advert for red bull than a softy and woody oriental!

There’s something seriously annoying about him in the last part where he puts on his jacket. Makes me want to slug that stupid smug expression off his face.

And I did think he looked very sexy, in a chiseled-undead way, in those pale twilight posters.

Sacrilege! I’m surprised you all did not hear the gales of laughter emanating from Virginia. Rob has not a great jaw line and that has always bothered me, but Led Zepelin is just not the music of Dior Homme. This is a subtle, sophisticated, beautiful fragrance. I do not hear this song when I wear it. Maybe some Sinatra, or Edith Piaf…..

Stinker_kit your description of the fragrance makes me want to try it more than the commercial. I heard he has bad breath, i’m just sayin thats what i read.

Never saw the Twilights but he did a fine job in Cosmotopolis, playing a rich spoiled sociopath. Hmm. he seems to be playing a rich spoiled sociopath in this little ad, as well.
That guy probably does not even have a whole lotta love, even for himself, which is a problem since he seems to be a complete narcissist.
Hey pretty blonde, now that you have had your fling on the beach and shocking the old men in the hotel (by doing the fox trot, considered a respectable dance, even in the 1920’s), get your self a guy who can really give you a whole lotta love. Those Old Spice guys might be available.

Oh, I think he’s quite handsome and I have thought so for a long while! I have loved Zep since I was knee high to a grass-hopper and cant quite believe they agreed to have such an iconic song linked to any product in this way. I never sniffed the cologne, but there is no way it could ever tickle my nose in the way the song tickles my ears =)

      Me, too, Deva!
I wasn’t too surprised they let WLL be used for this. When they allowed Rock & Roll to be used for Cadillac about 9 years ago, that can of worms opened up.
It tickled me to see the advert, too, as I have been a long time Zepper!

Pattinson does nothing for me, but I got a thrill when I recognized Camille as one of the models from the Boden catalog. Few things excite me more than the Boden catalog! 🙂
