Anat Fritz Classical ~ new fragrance

Posted by Robin on 28 August 2013 7 Comments

Anat Fritz Classical

Berlin-based knitwear designer Anat Fritz has launched Classical, a new variation on the original Anat Fritz fragrance.

Inspired by Berlin designer Anat Fritz’s youthful memories of sun-drenched weekends in the countryside, Classical has long been that rare fragrance that evokes a near-universal sense of childhood. Now, having been reworked by one of Germany’s most renowned noses (we’re not supposed to tell, but we bet you can figure it out), Classical has upped the ante, taking an already bright and comforting scent and rounding it out into a luminously nostalgic Eau de Parfum meant to take each wearer on their own unique journey.

The notes include lavender, vetiver, cedar and sandalwood.

Anat Fritz Classical is available now at Luckyscent, 100 ml Eau de Parfum for $145.

Well, considering Geza Schoen is the only German nose I know of……. ;-p

Could be! But that would seem odd since he’s already publicly done fragrances for the brand. There’s also Ralf Schwieger, and surely others I’m not thinking of. On the other hand, admit I couldn’t care less who it is.

True – I guess I was looking at those notes and thinking, what that needs is some Iso E Super! Anat Fritz stuff is pretty spare as it is – seems like a good match, GS and AF.

I don’t really like the yarn but I get..but why the cheapo, plastic looking sprayer top and cap? Looks like a top from a body spray at Walmart.

Didn’t notice initially, but you’re right.

Flacon looks like a room fragrance for a colder season, maybe early spring or late autumn, and the notes sound the same.

On the other hand German and Fritz … they have a sense of humour 🙂
