French jewelry brand Reminiscence has launched Tonka, a new oriental fragrance:
Newborn in the range, Tonka evokes the feeling of mystery and joy. Reminiscence shapes materials, and brings with TONKA a new inspiration to its oriental family of « Classics ». By combining three types of extractions, the structure of Tonka progressively unveils. A fragrance where the Tonka bean is shaped from every angle, slightly aniseed and subtly rounded off by a hint of honey…
Tonka was developed by perfumer Fabrice Pellegrin. The notes include bergamot, anise, clove, jasmine, honey, cistus, bitter almond, tonka bean, vanilla and musk.
Reminiscence Tonka is available in 50 and 100 ml Eau de Toilette.

This sounds fascinating to me. They used to have the most beautiful bottles but I see that they go with a more generic (cheaper) style now. Anyway, I am a sucker for all things sweet and spicy.
They still do fun bottles for some of the other series…
I love this line, I can’t wait to try this as Tonka is a favorite note of mine.
I really liked one of the Patchoulis, now I can’t remember which. But very well done, I wish I had access to more testers.
