Verbena!

Posted by Robin on 13 August 2013 2 Comments

From L’Occitane, two short films about growing and processing verbena (verveine). The first is from Corsica; below the jump, another from an organic operation in Provence.

    Dear NST
In the right climate verbena and lemon verbena (apparently I was told neither of them true members of the verbena family) can be easy to grown.
In fact on occasion it can be holding the stuff back that becomes the issue.
As well as lovely scented uses, I’ve found the stuff makes splendid tea and has a thousand culinary uses sweet and savoury!
    Yours ever
    The Perfumed Dandy
