Nicki Minaj Minajesty ~ new perfume

Posted by Robin on 30 July 2013 28 Comments

Nicki Minaj Minajesty

Singer Nicki Minaj will launch her second fragrance, Minajesty, in September. Her debut fragrance, Pink Friday, was introduced in 2012.

"Minajesty" is described as a passionate love affair. Mysterious and sexy. An unforgettable and hypnotizing scent. It opens with juicy notes of peach, red currant, and lemon. Magnolia, pink frangipani and tiger orchid are in the heart, while the base consists of tonka, vanilla, and musk notes.

Nicki Minaj Minajesty is a floral gourmand; I will update with sizes and concentration when I can.

(quote via mypinkfriday, additional information via digitalspy)

Update: Minajesty will be available in 30, 50 and 100 ml Eau de Parfum and in matching body products.

Another update: see a review of Nicki Minaj Minajesty.

I really didn’t like the Pink Friday bottle, but this is over the line enough that I sort of love it.

Seriously now. She saw that cross dressing Carrot Top/Ronald McDonald nightmare hybrid bottle and was like, now that’s cool?

Ugh – that bottle is horrible. It would freak me out at night if I had that on my dresser.

Last time I was in Kohls I saw a bunch of Minaj perfumes stacked up for impulse purchases near the cash register. Someone had removed the plastic wigs.
Minaj strikes me as a smart cookie (Ok, actually as a smart Bride of Blackenstein based on her appearance in an SNL sketch). Couldnt she have negotiated for final appoval of a bottle based upon manufacturing samples?Even worse, did she actually like these bottles?

I think it looks like what you’d get if C3PO did drag.

Maybe that’ll be the flanker? Or R2D2 as a disco ball?

I think the point is that they stand out from the crowd, are unforgettable, and get people commenting.

    3CPO, Madonna and Raggedy Ann.
Recently, there was a grand opening for a Mc’d’s in my area. Ronald was outside in 100 degree heat….nothing creepier than a sweaty clown. Just creepy! LOL. He reached out to shake my hand or hug me or something..I said, no thanks, I don’t like clowns, sorry. lol.

My God, just when I thought things couldn’t get uglier – and yet it does have a certain charm… It would make a great white elephant gift at a holiday party, but it probably costs too much…
