Seriously, he looks like he is sleep walking. Really tired of all these bored men…this reminded me of the Fendi one:

But, +1 for the random big cats. I am becoming very attached to the random use of large animals in perfume commercials.

I love big (and small) cats, but these suffering, brooding guys, tired of all the women throwing themselves at their feet…boooooring! And also a little off-putting. I like a sweet guy who can make me laugh, not this dark(ish) creature, no matter how good he smells.

I don’t even think you can blame the actors/models in these things…this seems to be what the perfume companies want.

    That is very clever Robin!
“L’ennui de l’homme” is so right on!
    (very a-propos rather)
And the pronunciation of “La Nuit” and “L’Ennui” in French are so close and could be used interchangeably by people in different French speaking regions.
Thank you for making me laugh so good today.
I think the folks at L’Oreal must be fuming at this unfortunate pun. Their best seller ending up as a total ‘Ennui” which means annoyance of course but takes on more of a meaning of “annoyed boredom” in today’s French language.
    LOL

Oh, I doubt they are fuming — hopefully they have better things to read than NST! But glad you enjoyed it.
