Posted by Robin on 22 April 2013 8 Comments

Estee Lauder Pleasures Pop

Estee Lauder has launched Pleasures Pop, a new fragrance for women. Pleasures Pop is a limited edition flanker to 1995's Pleasures, and is being released in conjunction with a limited edition nail polish and lip gloss.

Surprise your senses. A lively burst of fruity florals, brightened with luscious Pink Peony, Pink Grapefruit and Raspberry.

Additional notes include lychee, freesia, lily, jasmine, rose, benzoin, cedar, musk, vanilla and heliotrope.

Estee Lauder Pleasures Pop is available now at Macy's, $60 for 50  ml Eau de Parfum.

I actually liked Pleasures intense forever ago (and smelling it on someone immediately transports me back to high school), but I found the original Pleasures to be a bit jarring to the nose. I do generally think EL releases well-crafted fragrances though, so I’ll give this a sniff for sure.

Agree they usually do a good job. There was a Pleasures flanker I liked a few years back, now I can’t remember what it was called.

Ah — I think that was the one I liked too.

This rendition of the bottle makes it look like a naughty feminine toy (O_O)

i got a chance to smell this yesterday. it smells great. it has this candy, juice smell at first. then after a few minutes, it get this lovely shampoo note to it. it is a pleasure to wear!! its not too original, but it is pleasant and nice. i have a bottle of pleasure delight, i was lucky enough to get a bottle before it was pulled. it really smells fabulous!! i wish el would put it back out!! i am a fan of most all of the el fragrances, they are very well done and worth the money..

I was in Dillard’s today and went to the Estee Lauder booth to get some of my make-up that I ran out of. I saw the EL Pleasures Pop perfume for the first time.(Really, I saw that there was a free gift with the purchase of the fragrance, LOL!) I asked the SA about it and I sprayed it on. I always like to see how long a fragrance will last on me. I bought the Pleasures Nude when it first came out. It was nice, but didn’t last long. To my surprise, I was impressed with the staying power of Pop and I loved it! After reading Robin’s article, the notes that are in this perfume are all the ones that I love (I love fragrances that have fruity notes in them). I guess that I will have to make a trip back this week and get a bottle of this fragrance. I like it a lot!
