S by Shakira Aquamarine ~ new fragrance

Posted by Robin on 1 April 2013 6 Comments

S by Shakira Aquamarine

Shakira has launched S by Shakira Aquamarine, a new limited edition flanker to her debut perfume for women, 2010's S by Shakira, and a follow-up to 2011's  S by Shakira Eau Florale.

With this new fragrance, I wanted to express something pure, elemental and sensual. For me, the ocean represents all of those things. In a word, it is a source of true inspiration.

Notes include bergamot, passion fruit, tangerine, aquatic and ozone accords, jasmine, frangipani, tiare, musk, amber and cedar.

S by Shakira Aquamarine is available in 50 and 80 ml Eau de Toilette.

Total pass. S scents were bad to me.

Oh yes. When I think sensual, I think aquatic and ozone. (Insert sarcastic grin here.)

I will be interested to see what this is like. I like S very very much. The floral one not as much because it is very ~pink~ and flowery. But on me, they both last a really long time, they are light and comforting in a way. And the price is right. The bottles are really pretty too. I love how the little latch thingie with the S goes on them.

I think they are worth a sniff. I saw some disdain in the other post about them being “Walmart” scents, but hey, not all of us can afford Bruno A?

      Very true — I know I can’t afford Bruno A.
