Magnolia & Mûre ~  a fruity chypre with bergamot, blackberry, magnolia, rose and patchouli.

Vanille & Narcisse ~ a floriental with blackcurrant, bergamot, narcissus, gardenia, vanilla and tonka bean.

Thé Vert & Bigarade ~ an aromatic citrus with bitter orange, green tea, cedar, thyme and musk.

L’Occitane La Collection de Grasse is due to launch in May, in 75 ml Eau de Toilette and matching body products.

This is L’occitian responce after the body shop & Yves rocher released their collections I guess. I just wish L’occitian will open a store where I live.

Possibly, although it’s not all that different in inspiration from their earlier collections like Notre Fleur.

Looks like I’ll be heading to L’Occitane in May!

Looks as if I will be too – the Jasmine and Bergamote sounds delightful for summer.

It does. I liked their jasmine for the Notre Flore collection, although not enough to buy it.

None of this sounds particularly groundbreaking, but the vibrant colored juice sure looks good on a dressing table. Yves Rocher’s collections are a steal with sales and coupon codes. L’Occitane’s florals just don’t seem to compete as well on value for money.

Agree — L’Occitane’s prices have inched up over the years, whereas YR is still a bargain.

The prices of L’Occitane scents are quite high for the value you get. Moreover, their creativity when it comes to perfumes is anything but groundbreaking. I remember liking the ‘old’ perfumes Neroli, Ambre, etc. – nice staying power and really pretty, but instead of keeping them, they discontinued and replaced them with new crowd-pleasing stuff. One of the things that drives me crazy about this brand is that they discontinue their products quire regularly, so once you take a liking to something, better stock up! Some of the mens perfumes are still nice though.
That said, I’ll try them once they appear on the shelves.

Have to agree on all counts.

These all sound try-worthy! I seem to recall that their releases last summer (I think there were 3) came in cheap feeling plastic (!) bottles. Here’s hoping these are in glass flacons.

I kept meaning to go try those but never did. But seriously, they were in plastic?? Quite surprised.

I saw them today at the L’Occitane shop in Antwerp and I think the bottles were glass (I didn’t really pay attention though – so I’m not completely sure), nevertheless I think they’re pretty ugly. I tried 3 of them (not Vanille & Narcisse) and in my opinion the quality isn’t really good. Standard L’Occitane stuff, nothing special, not to different from last years colognes and rather feminine. Magnolia & Mure was the only one I found somewhat interesting…

Glass they were; I tried them in EDT, lotion & bar (soap) yesterday @ a store nearby & was quite taken by Magnolia & Vanille. Vanille starts off smelling akin2 Gaultier2 while Magnolia turns surprisingly masculine in the dry down..
