Up for grabs: Lush + Atelier Cologne + more

Posted by Robin on 1 March 2013 103 Comments — Comments are closed

Lush Furze range

What is it: 7 ml minis of Lush Furze, Sun and Euphoria, plus a 7.5 ml travel spray of Atelier Cologne Mistral Patchouli, plus samples of the Alice + Peter line and Frapin Speakeasy.

How do I get it: For a chance to win, leave a comment on the website telling me that you live in the US. Then tell me either a) your favorite favorite Lush product or b) your favorite Atelier Cologne fragrance or c) something else you've been dying to post in a comment.

Be sure to use the “Post a comment” box; do not reply to another comment! All replies to comments will be deleted!

The contest will be open until noon or so on Monday, and I'll announce the winner on Wednesday.

The fine print: Don't enter the contest unless I have permission to use the email address in your reader account to contact you. If the email address in your reader account is incorrect, you might want to fix it. If you are the winner and you fail to send me your mailing details within a couple weeks, I’ll give your prize away to someone else. Sadly, it sometimes usually takes me a month to mail a package. Reasonable care will be taken in the packaging and mailing of your prize, but if the contents are lost or damaged or fail to please you for any reason whatsoever, I’m sorry but I cannot replace them.

I live in the US and you can use my addy/e-mail addy. Until recently my favorite Lush product hovered between Lip Service and the Nutts massage bar, but for my birthday I got minis of three of the new Gorillas (Flower’s Barrow, Devil’s Nightcap and Hellstone) and now my favorite is Devil’s Nightcap. It is some seriously great stuff on me. Hellstone didn’t work at all for me and will soon be on it’s way to 50 Roses, and Flower’s Barrow…well, I like it, but it doesn’t stick around for long on my skin, if I put it in an atomizer maybe that’ll change? I’ll have to get one and try. But anyway, I have been wanting to try Sun and (to a slightly lesser extent) Euphoria, my skin loves sandalwood and does really nice things with a good orange blossom so maybe…?

I live in the US. Sadly I haven’t tried Lush in a while. My favorite from many years ago is Flying Fox Shower Gel and then they had the Flying Fox balm. I don’t think they have the balm any longer. I’ve never tried Atelier and would love to.

I live in the U.S, and it’s fine to use my email. I just started reading about Mistral Patchouli and was intrigued mainly because I love the name! I’ve just started getting into Lush products, and my favorite so far is the Dirty soap bar. I’ve also used the Strawberry massage bar and the Angel on Bare Skin exfoliant. Can’t wait to sample some more! Thanks!

I live in the US, and on my most recent Lush haul I bought a solid jasmine shampoo, Godiva. Love the scent, but it didn’t moisturize well. The body massage bars, though – Friends with Benefits and Mange Too are amazing.

I live in the U.S., you can use my email, and picking a favorite LUSH product is fairly easy for me: I love Silky Underwear powder (and the spray is wonderful, too). I’m not –sadly!–familiar with Atelier fragrances, but am a sucker for just about anything with patchouli in the name. Thanks for the draw! The fact that I’ll never go through my fragrance collection doesn’t keep me from wanting more…

  26. Sunski says:

I live in the US. My favorite Lush product is not a fragrance, but I love the smell. It’s Ocean Salt Face and Body Scrub. Both my husband and I like it for our faces (I think it’s too expensive to use as a body scrub) and it smells like a not-overly-sweet tropical drink — maybe a martini by the ocean would be a better description.

I have absolutely nothing to say regarding the brands since I’ve never tried any of them! Instead, I’m going to mention that I managed to find a copy of Chandler Burr’s The Perfect Scent: A Year Inside the Perfume Industry in Paris and New York for $1.00 yesterday at a local Dollar Tree (I occasionally stop in to see if there are any decent books) along with Tolkien’s The Legend of Sigurd and Gudrún for the same price. Both mysteriously jumped into my hands and found their way home with me 😉 Thank you for hosting this draw!

Hi Robin and thank you for the contest. I’ve yet to try anything from Lush but have read they do a good job with jasmine, especially a jasmine henna hair product. So I’d love to try that product as well as their most popular items just to get a feel for the line. I haven’t tried all of Atelier’s line to say what I like best, but do love their Orange Sanguine (sp?) and put it right up there with Guerlain’s Aqua Allegoria Mandarine-Basilic as my fave orange scent so far. I live in the US and you have permission to use the email in my account. Good luck, everyone.

I’m hoping to visit a Lush store soon and enjoy some sniffing. Don’t have a favorite Atelier either. Thanks for the giveaway and I live in the U.S.

I live in the U.S. (assuming Texas hasn’t seceeded yet). I love Atelier’s Oolong Infini, and enjoy lots of Lush: Flying Fox shower gel, Fair Trade Honey shampoo, and Silky Underwear Body Powder are staples.

I live in the U.S., and you have permission to use my email. My favorite Atelier Colognes are Orange Sanguine and Vanille Insensee, and my favorite Lush product is far and away the gorgeously-scented Soft Coeur massage bar. Thank you for the generous giveaway, Robin!

I love Lush- wish I had more money and a jacuzzi tub to use their bombs more often! I am fond of the bombs- dragons egg is a fave…also the silky underwear powder is great. I haven’t gotten to spend much time with the Ateliers but I recall liking the citrus ones a lot. Thanks for the draw Robin!

I live in the US, and my favorite Lush product is definitely Lush Potion — if only there was a perfume of this available! The carnation scent is so lovely.

I live in the US. My absolute favorite LUSH product is the Dream Cream. It is great for dry skin and it has a lovely lavender scent. I use it every night on my hands and legs.

I live in the US. I have so many favorite Lush products I don’t know where to begin! I do love Cynthia Sylvia Stout Shampoo a lot, though… and Sympathy for the Skin.

I live in the US. I love Lush’s Breath of God. It’s so funky and polarizing.

For Atelier Cologne, I adore Vanilla Insensee, it’s the only vanilla fragrance I’ve been compelled to purchase.

I live in the US, love the smell of Lush’s Karma soap, or their Butterball bath bombs. My son loves any of their bath bombs, esp the likle baby bot
