Vera Wang Be Jeweled ~ new perfume

Posted by Robin on 16 January 2013 14 Comments

Vera Wang Be Jeweled

Vera Wang will launch Be Jeweled, a new fragrance for women:

Brilliant and flirtatious, Vera Wang Be Jeweled captures the energy and excitement of the perfect girls night out. Each girl is a “jewel” in her own right, exuding confidence and charm. Their presence captivates as they enter the room.

Be Jeweled was developed by perfumer Yann Vasnier; notes include pomegranate, red currant, champagne accord, passion fruit, honeysuckle, peony, silvanone & cosmone musks, pink sugar crystals and sandalwood.

Vera Wang Be Jeweled will be available in 30, 50 and 75 ml Eau de Parfum.

(via press release)

Update: Vera Wang Be Jeweled is exclusive to Kohl's, and is a "radiant fruity floral". (via wwd)

I didn’t think she could one-up Lovestruck in terms of bottle fugliness, but she just may have.

It is interesting how Princess has changed bottle design over at Vera Wang. Guessing this is going for same woman, a bit older, & that Lovestruck didn’t quite capture enough of an audience.

Her first fragrance hands down is the best so far, it’s my signature. Too bad I can’t stand any kind of scents for a long time, nausea & vomiting & all 🙁

I would agree it’s her best, and sorry!!

I agree with Carine…the first fragrance of Vera’s was beautiful. Not any I fancy wearing, but I could be in a room with someone wearing it, without gagging. The rest. Ouch. And the bottles are ugly. Too bad. I kinda like her.

Unfortunately Vera’s scents went from brides to teen brides!

Is it even legal for the target demographic to marry?

Oh dear. I’m quite drawn to that bottle. I think the latent disney-ho in me is awakening…

I cannot understand why a brand like Vera Wang would continue to release teenybopper perfumes like this. It’s so at odds with their core business image.

I have kind of a shameful love for that bottle, at least in the picture. But the notes? It’s all sugar and musks — why isn’t this another Princess flanker?
