Bunch o’ limited edition collector bottles 2013, part 1

Posted by Robin on 11 January 2013 10 Comments

More limited edition collector fragrance bottles, with the usual disclaimers: in most of these cases, the juice is unchanged, just the bottle is “special” (or not, as the case may be), and some of these may not be available in the US.

Lanvin Arpege minaudière

From Lanvin, a minaudière celebrating the 85th anniversary of their classic Arpège perfume. Made in Italy of resin molded in the shape of the Arpège bottle, with gold-tone hardware, chain handle and push-button closure. Available for pre-order at Bergdorf Goodman (expected to ship in April) for $3610.

Diptyque L'Ombre dans L'Eau, limited edition floral packaging 2013

Diptyque's L'Ombre dans L'Eau in limited edition floral packaging for 2013. In 75 ml Eau de Parfum (shown, $140) or 7.5 ml roll-on (not shown, $55), at Beautyhabit.

Tous Eau de Toilette 10th anniversary edition

From Tous, a limited edition of Tous Eau de Toilette celebrating the fragrance's 10th anniversary. 50 ml, with sterling silver cap, $229 at Tous.

Roger & Gallet scented bracelets

From Roger & Gallet, a scented ceramic bracelet which you can refresh from a 30 ml travel spray (included, in scents Bois d'orange, Shiso, Amande Persane or Rose Imaginaire). Due to launch this month, €16.50. (via beaute-conseils, femmeactuelle.fr)

Kate Walsh Boyfriend, solid perfume

From Kate Walsh, the Boyfriend fragrance in a solid perfume compact with faux-crocodile zipper pouch. This is not new, but it's new at Nordstrom and I don't think we've ever posted it, so here it is. $45.

Darn, I don’t have an extra four grand lying around for that Arpege minaudiere, but it is pretty. I can’t tell – is the perfume included, or is the bottle just for illustrative purposes?

VERY pretty — I have no use for it either, and I want one. I read about it in 4 different places and none of them (including BG) mention the perfume, so I’m guessing you have to buy your own 🙂

Wait, what? Really?! Four grand and you don’t get the scent with it? If I were a wealthy diva, I’d be outraged!

Ha…if you were a wealthy diva you’d just buy your own, right?

Ok, so I was dissing Lanvin yesterday, but…… that’s a nice package. Won’t be joining my collection, but it’s nice.

    Now, bring back My Sin.

It’s gorgeous, but useless — for me, anyway. It is a shame about My Sin.

The Lanvin minaudière doesn’t contain a bottle of Arpège? Oh well forget it then. 😉
