Demeter has launched Sugar Plum, a new addition to their Fragrance Library:
A perfect Holiday fragrance. Sugar plums can be made from any kind or combination of dried fruits, not just plums, together with finely chopped nuts, honey and aromatic spices. Demeter's Sugar Plum is, not surprisingly, on the simple side, just plum, honey, powdered sugar and a secret combination of spices.
Demeter Sugar Plum is available in 15, 30 or 120 ml Cologne ($6 – $39.50) and in matching bath & body products.

Does that not sound like the bare bones of a Serge Lutens scent? Add some wood and you’re all set: maybe a spritz of Demeter’s Mahogany.
Ha…it does! Probably could come up with a decent layering combo, yes, but the Serge would outlast it by miles.
It’s true! Demeters last about 15 minutes: Lutens scents last literally a hundred times that.
