Italian niche line Profumi del Forte has launched two new fragrances, Fiorisia and Frescoamaro.
Fiorisia (shown) ~ "A floral bouquet with a great personality, rich in modulations: the enveloping warmth of jasmine, the spicy persistent note of carnation, the intense sweetness of ylang-ylang. An elegant heart, preceded by fresh and fruity notes , with acid and decorative tones, that softens into a grand final of dense woods." Developed by perfumer Arturetto Landi; additional notes include bergamot, currant, tamarind, green leaves, iris, musk, cedar and sandalwood.
Frescoamaro ~ "An original plot of green notes and fruity scents in the heart of a perfume that is constantly changing . The debut is very fresh, with a touch of resin to enhance the alcoholic notes of gin. Then the persistence of osmanthus and the delicacy of Damascus rose...And a slow descent towards warm woody notes and mosses, to leave fine traces of sensual sophistication on the skin." Developed by perfumer Bertrand Duchaufour; additional notes include cucumber, melon, violet leaves, juniper berries, cypress, mint, musk, sandalwood and vetiver.
Profumi del Forte Fiorisia and Frescoamaro are available now at First in Fragrance in Germany, in 50 and 100 ml Eau de Parfum.

Cedar always gives me pause, but everything else in Fiorisia sounds perfect for me. The other one sounds nice to me, too, altho Uncle Bert’ies scents tend to be kind of light on me.
Neither of these is screaming to me. I think I’m on overload.
I have been on overload for quite some time…but jasmine or carnation will probably always catch my eye. Nose?? Green leaved and iris also sound nice.
But the wood will probably sink me, I am getting extremely sensitive to some note they have in woods these days.
Fiorisia does sound kind of nice. I’m a little leery of the other though, as walking around with “rum” (or any other adult beverage notes) would not go over to well at work…
Yet to meet a gin note that would last through even a short commute to work, but you never know!
Um, Profumi Del Forte + Duchaufour = Count Me In. Very excited for these! Actually, both of these sound great.
