Posted by Robin on 23 October 2012 10 Comments

Parfums d'Orsay Tilleul Pour La Nuit

Parfums d’Orsay has launched Tilleul Pour La Nuit, a new alcohol-free 'skincare fragrance' inspired by the original Parfums d'Orsay Tilleul scent developed by perfumer Olivia Giacobetti.

Ingredients include chamomile, petitgrain, lime blossom, lemon leaves, angelica, thyme, acacia wood and beeswax.

Parfums d'Orsay Tilleul Pour La Nuit is available in 100 ml.

Interesting. I wonder if it replaces Friction de Nuit (Tilleul) which just had additional menthol.

No idea…wish I had a better idea of what it “felt” like…it sounds almost like a lotion but might be closer to a gel or dry oil — they describe it as “airy”. Hard to tell. I’d like some whatever it is!

I do too, although haven’t smelled a new bottle in ages…no idea if it’s been redone.

If I was a zillionaire, Olivia Giacobetti would be le Nez de la Maison Chrisskins. Which means, I’d really like to smell this one.

Yet to smell the original Tilleul, but anything floral the maestra Giacobetti comes up with can only be breathtaking. I adore linden blossoms – a note that is underrated in my opinion.

Agree. The original was one of the few not-overly-soapy linden blossom scents — really nicely done.

This does sound pretty – where is this available in the U.S.?

I don’t think it is yet, and not sure who will pick it up in any case.
