Armani Code Ultimate by Giorgio Armani ~ new fragrance

Posted by Robin on 27 August 2012 8 Comments

Armani Code Ultimate by Giorgio Armani

Giorgio Armani has launched Armani Code Ultimate, a new woody oriental fragrance for men. Armani Code Ultimate is a flanker to 2004′s Armani Code.

The new version of the very successful Armani Code fragrance collection is based on a more luxurious, intense and sensual dimension compared to previous Armani Code versions.

A symbol of elegance and strength, Armani Code Ultimate revisits the best-selling Armani Code. It is a logical continuation of the house's line of men's fragrances. Seductive, all-conquering and bold: that is the kind of man Giorgio Armani is addressing with this scent. With an omnipresent sensuality, the fragrance possesses addictively powerful notes.

Armani Code Ultimate was developed by perfumer Antoine Maisondieu. The notes feature grapefruit, mandarin orange, star anise, cedar, cypress, heliotrope, olive blossom, vanilla, tonka bean and guaiac wood.

Armani Code Ultimate by Giorgio Armani is available in 50 and 75 ml Eau de Toilette.

Yet another flanker of Armani Code (I hope they won’t do more of Code Sport!) Will give it a try just to satisfy curiosity.

I will probably skip it…the Armani prestige line has yet to win me over.

I got to try this one yesterday. It was STRONG and powdery. Just like the original. It pretty much dries down to the original but I absolutely loved the top. A love at first whiff never really happens to me, not even with Britney!, but I have to say, it happened with Ultimate. I hate myself for not getting a sample, or even a bottle even though it is clearly not the time for this one and I should wait for the colder seasons, because I can’t stop thinking about it. I probably smelled 10 more scents yesterday and the Code is all I can think about. Drat!
