I like the messaging of the fragrance – Georgina Chapman does a wonderful job of delivering it. BUT OMG that model – the first time you see her it’s through a veined mirror (it would probably read as vintage were it shot in color, but it’s not) and she’s just lying there. She looks like a mottled corpse. The camera pans down but I’m still like, why does that girl look so mottled? The whole ad comes across aesthetically like some kind of memento mori, complete with garbled broke-down music. Wish they tested these images on mobile devices b/c this is becoming a theme, lately the images in these ads have been reading poorly. Anyone else agree?

Also, the model looks like Ophelia (sorry for the WTHella-long link):

Agree about finding images that will work on mobile devices given how many people are watching them that way.

We are supposed to smell like clothes now? Weird.
As a oddly connected note -I work in clothing retail and unpack the new stuff weekly.I’ve had one set of blouses smell like crunch berry cereal, and a screenprint tank smell horribly of hair perm solution.Another lot of tees came smell(reeking) of mothballs!

Those are seriously beautiful gowns, the ecstasy of which should smell like Amouage, at the very least! And, yeah, I always just “throw on” my couture gowns. 😉
