Posted by Robin on 31 July 2012 6 Comments

Victoria's Secret Body by Victoria fragrance

Victoria's Secret has launched Body by Victoria, a new fresh fragrance for women:

Sensual and stunning. Forever fresh. Wrap yourself in this iconic eau de parfum from our all-new Body by Victoria collection. The ultra-feminine scent is a lush blend of water blossoms, orange flower and earthy musk. Make it the first thing you put on in the morning and the only layer you leave on at night.

Additional notes include mandarin, peach, raspberry leaves, ginger lily, magnolia, lily of the valley, precious woods, sheer amber and orris.

Victoria's Secret Body by Victoria is available in 50 and 100 ml Eau de Parfum.

Victoria's Secret London perfume

Also new, a limited edition floral fragrance celebrating the brand's first London stores — Victoria's Secret London:

To celebrate the hotly anticipated launch of our very first London stores, we've created an exclusive, limited-edition fragrance that's as enchanting and glamorous as the city itself. This fragrant tribute perfectly captures our lifelong love affair with London. Inspired by the romance of the city, the sparkling mix of Violet Leaves, Mandarin and Neroli Flower calls to mind amorous walks in Hyde Park, watching sunsets on Primrose Hill and candlelit suppers at The Ivy.

Additional notes include bitter orange, rose, marigold, apple, jasmine, waterlily, orange blossom, muguet, musk, patchouli, amber and vanilla.

Victoria's Secret London is available in 75 ml Eau de Parfum. It can be found in the UK and at select Victoria's Secret store in the US.

So, what happened to the Body by Victoria from 2002? The last I knew it was still in production. This new one doesn’t sound like the one I used to wear.

Sorry, but no idea…I cannot keep track of the VS output. They did 18 fragrances last year, which is pretty astonishing.

Sorry my post is so late. I just went to VS the other day to purchase “Body”. I wanted that familiar, beautiful smell that blended so well with my body chemistry. When I sprayed on some in the store, I was shocked. I asked the SA what happened to it because it smelled different. Obviously, she was new and had no clue because she said that was the way it always smelled. Clearly they changed the juice. I think they should have left well enough alone.

    Ugh… Allow me to translate…

Musky and fruity. Totally recycled. Douse yourself in this 15 minutes of fame eau de parfum from our re-packaged & overhyped Body by Victoria Collection. The high-school-licious scent is a non offensive fruity-floral with a generous helping of sanitized musk. Make it the fragrance you overdose on morning, noon, and night to choke out all who surround you.

Wow…an everything but the kitchen sink approach to perfume making. Those lists of ingredients are making my head spin.
