Oh, this sounds delicious! I just wore Femme edp to bed last night, coincidentally. It was a little too hot for the edt, I figured, but the edp was a lovely way to drift off to sleep and a sweet scent to wake up with this morning. If there’s a recipe for this, I’d certainly give it a go.
It really does sound quite good, and I’d like to see a recipe too.
Just reading the description of that pastry is getting me a bit hot ‘n’ bothered …

Such an interesting article! When I was working at L’Oréal, the person in charge of training the salespeople would make special orders of macarons at Pierre Hermé and he would deliver them tasting exactly like the notes of the perfumes. It was a great way to memorize them and really “feel” the perfume!
I would love to smell the fragrance and then taste the pastry that was created after it! What a novel idea!

“Peaches dusted with cumin and sugar” is exactly my impression of Rochas Femme; stewed peaches, though, not fresh. I’d love to try a pastry inspired by it. I’m surprised this sort of thing doesn’t happen more often, actually, given all the gourmand fragrances topping bestseller lists nowadays.
