Lolita Lempicka Au Masculin Eau de Minuit 2012 ~ new fragrance

Posted by Robin on 18 July 2012 18 Comments

Lolita Lempicka Au Masculin Eau de Minuit 2012

Lolita Lempicka will launch Lolita Lempicka Au Masculin Eau de Minuit, a new limited edition variation on 2001's Lolita Lempicka Au Masculin. Au Masculin Eau de Minuit is part of the 2012 Illusions Noires Eau de Minuit collection, which also includes Si Lolita Eau de Minuit and Lolita Lempicka Le Premier Parfum Eau de Minuit.

The notes include licorice wood and oud wood.

I will update with size and concentration when I can.

Update: Lolita Lempicka Au Masculin Eau de Minuit is available in 100 ml Eau de Toilette.

I really wanna try this, LL AM is one of those fragrances I have to feel in the mood to use but I always keep a bottle around.

I like it too. I used to like it better than the feminine because it was less sweet, but haven’t smelled them together in years.

I was so excited when I read the title of the article since LL Eau Masculine is in heavy rotation in my wardrobe. And then I read the notes… 🙁

Ah, but that’s a mighty short list of notes. Might be great stuff, I will surely smell it if I ever see it. Then again, good chance I never will see it.

Oud and I have yet to find a harmonious relationship save for some Goutals. Perhaps if it is done with a very light hand, but oud in my LL gives me the sads since it is difficult enough to avoid as it is.

It’s getting boring, isn’t it? When will they stop overusing it! And I’m more afraid to think what ingredient will replace the oud hype.

apparently people must have come across a HUGE HUGE stash of Oud, cause it seems to be everywhere in mainstream fragrances these days

More like they came across a new synthetic oud molecule 🙂

Yes, you’re probably right. Real oud is exquisite, but when it’s used so overzealously and we’re bombarded by it, my instinct is to flee in the oposite direction!

More like they’ve outlawed every other woofer-type base note.

LOL! I just found the “new” LL L`eau au Masculin and I assumed that I would now be up to date. Guess there will be one more to hunt down!
P.S. Been in Colombia for a week, and in the South American heat, nothing will do! I have been shopping for fragrances and found the whole 4711 collection as well as the Loew`s, but I`m saving my $$ and hopes for the duty free shops.

I’ve always wanted to try Lolita Lempicka Au Masculin, but a lot of people say it’s too feminine. Well, I’m a fan of Blue Sugar, and the main notes in the both scents are anise, so maybe I’ll like it? I’ll give Au Masculin Eau de Minuit a try.

Love the bottle. Very dark and mysterious.
