I really enjoyed this. I am fortunate to have met Linda in real life and she is as charming in the flesh as on this video.

I met her too, fairly soon after she opened her first boutique. She’s the only person who’s ever made me feel ‘big’ (I’m 5ft nothing and thin). Also, I have small, but strong hands and I crushed hers when we parted. She yelped. It was hilarious.

Loved that she pronounced the word “idea” as “idear.” I only heard that when I was a small child, and now never do in these parts.

Her accent is strikingly unusual, even in England!

Interesting, I didn’t notice (but wouldn’t be likely to).

I love this interview with Linda Pilkington! I met her about 8 years ago and haven’t seen her since, but I am STILL wearing Tolu & Champaca but buying online! She is one of the most down to earth, natural & lovely perfumers out there making exceptional scents. She really is ahead of her time with her choice of oils & the need to explore what is out there. Beautiful!
