Rodin Olio Lusso Perfume ~ new fragrance

Posted by Robin on 30 April 2012 12 Comments

Rodin Olio Lusso Perfume

Rodin Olio Lusso Perfume is a new fragrance that captures the aroma of Rodin's Olio Lusso Face Oil. The fragrance was developed in collaboration with indie perfumers DS & Durga:

Simple and sensual, RODIN perfume captures the aromatic heart of olio lusso with its heady combination of delicately fragrant Jasmine and spicy Neroli.

An oil based perfume with an incredibly silky touch on the skin, RODIN has a distinctive signature at once intimate and long lasting.

Presented in a bottle as chic, understated, and elegant as its unmistakable scent, RODIN perfume is an embodiment of quiet sophistication.

Additional notes include bergamot, lily of the valley and musk.

Rodin Olio Lusso Perfume is $220 for 30 ml, and can be found now at b-glowing or Beautyhabit.

This sounds really nice save for the price. I’d be hard pressed to resist if Oscar Blandi puts out a fragrance. I love the jasmine scent of those hair products for an extra lovely touch on special occasions. Didn’t Frederic Fekkai do something like this some years back as well?

yes, he had two scents, eau du jour? and something else. One smelled sort of like Fresh Lemon Sugar, I forget which.

Yup they were Eau de Jour and Bouquets de Provence, which was more floral/herbal as opposed to EdJ, a fresh citrus. Both just beautiful and not overly ‘perfumey’. I own BdP and also a later orange blossom- themed perfume of theirs, whose name has escaped me at the moment!

Arrrggh- I already want this and I haven’t smelt it. I do have a great olfactive imagination when it comes to blind buys though. 😀 I am very bad lately.
The price for 30 mls is outrageously high. Better start saving clams for this.

I love the stunning vibrant yellow colour! Just beautiful ! Will have to admire from afar as that price is way out of my budget!! Thou u must admire a product that pulls out all stops and does not apologize for its quality and value! Props x

I would love to have about 3 of these. But my purchase of Vero’s RUBJ, ETAT’s DIVINE ÈNFANT, MUSC RAVENGER, and about 8 SL’s + 2 Amouages, has me going for a while. I also swoon over pix of Xerjoff’s Oud. I would fall over if I could get my hands on that. These two are on my TO BUY LIST in MAY/JUNE
